On april 7 and 8, Universidad Latina de Panama held Expo-Latina with the theme “plastic that is not trash”, where students from the communications faculty showed several ways how to reutilize empty plastic bottles that other way would end on the city landfill.
After the event, Gesvil Recycling plant helped the students with bigbags to collect 200 pounds of plastic that will be recycled into making new plastic bottles.
